Real Weddings

We are looking for real weddings with a Cambridgeshire connection. The connection can be through the suppliers used rather than just the venue – we have a fabulous destination wedding coming up soon with Cambridgeshire Dress and Flower Suppliers that we can’t wait to share with you!

We love vintage, rustic, quirky, whimisical and alternative weddings here at Bicycle Made for Two but if you’re not sure, send us over some images and if we love them we will share them! If you think you have something we’ll be interested in then drop us an email to start with including a link to your blog or image gallery. If you don’t have any images from the particular wedding online then send us a small selection (around 10) to give us a taste and we’ll let you know. Email: [email protected].

Our requirements are:

• We need 50-100 images featuring all aspects of the wedding day including preparations, vows, portraits, venue shots, details and decor.
• Images should be 650px wide along the bottom edge.
• No composite images as our gallery automatically tiles the images into a mosaic and makes collage images too small and it doesn’t look great.
• No borders on photographs (when we set them to the right width for the page it affects the positioning of the photo and means it won’t look as good – we want your work to look as professional as you are!)
• Whilst we do prefer to look at images without watermarks (we think we’re great at crediting photographers so please wave and point at any images we’ve missed here or on Facebook) we do realise how important your copyright is to you. If you would be more comfortable sharing watermarked images then we are still happy to share them! Have a look at this example from Liz Greenalgh photography which is perfectly acceptable for use on the site.

Features

We’re looking for regular feature writers from among all you lovely suppliers. This can be your opportunity to write about what you are really passionate about while receiving great promotion for your wedding business. All regular feature writers will receive free advertising spaces in exchange for their articles.
